What does that mean? What’s a Cleanse Day? One day a week, for the 30 day cleanse, I’ll just have liquids for the day. It’s like a mini-fast, to help my body get rid of toxins and flush them away. Isagenix “Cleanse for Life” liquid is what I’ll be drinking, with water, and actually a few Isagenix snacks to tide me over between the liquid meals.

This morning I woke up feeling pretty energized. I usually will take a little while to even be able to talk or function and interact with others, until I’ve had my first cup of coffee. But this morning I felt like talking right away. I’ve had my morning Ionix drink, and a class of clean water, and one of the Natural Accelerator supplement tablets, as I’m doing every day during this month’s cleanse.

I’m also going to drink plenty of water today, 100 ounces or so – about 6 or 7 glasses of water (my glasses are about 16 oz). Plus four ounces of the Cleanse Liquid four different times during the day today. In between I can have a few healthy snacks, or some of the Isagenix snacks that came with my 30-day Cleanse Kit.

So far, I’m feeling really good. I don’t really have a craving for my coffee right now, although I kind of think I should. I did feel like some homemade chacolate chip cookies last night, and I did eat some. They say that eating sugar the night before cleanse day will make it harder, but we’ll see. I may feel some sugar cravings as my blood sugar gets lower. I’ll try to just eat a quick snack when that happens.

Here’s what Isagenix says about their Cleanse for Life:

Over time, impurities from the environment, your food and water build up and cause your body to function less efficiently. Cleanse for Life helps rid your body of unwanted impurities with gentle cleansing herbs such as Pau D’arco, Yellow Dock and Aloe Vera while infusing it with vital nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. So, your body can function more effectively.
